Town Marshall is a historic term, and is used for our police chief, David Penrod. In addition, the department is staffed with 4 deputy marshals, who provide 24 hour, 7 day a week service.
Our police work to be involved in the community, to know the residents and business owners. Coupeville is one of the few communities in which our police officers will unlock your car when you leave the keys inside, or jump a dead battery.
The department also provides vacation checks for homes when the residents are out of town.
To contact an officer in a non-emergency situation, call the dispatch center, ICOM at 675-9567 and request the officer on duty to call back. Emergency calls should be directed to 911. |
